Today

I received an email today, it touched me and left me speechless, I have asked permission to post it.

His name is Mike and he's from Sacramento but is now in California and he said something that was haunting:

"...the sound is so beautifully melancholy that the oversensitive should not listen."

And then I saw the picture of a soldier carrying a fataly wounded little girl in mosul. The photographer is Michael Yon

Two Friends

I have started a poetry workshop, it's good to trigger some, any sentiments.... and our first excercise was to write about two things, objects... here they are:

Friend 1

I sing silently for my potent friend
Dark, Lucid, a liquid of strength
And silently it lay in its golden embrace
Before it changes and shows its real face

I sing silently through whispers on my lips
Before it spreads its warmth from my head to my tips
And silently send swirls in the air
Of a language written in despair

I sing silently of its travels afar
Of character and bodies of lips light and dark
And silently it courses through and through
Making my tongue sing a song very blue.

Friend 2

pass me our breath
Let my mind rush
In a fervent hush
As I write you,

burn, for your life is in your embers
A silent glow
Of red, white, and grey
As I take you,

Come through and fill me
And hurry! As you thrill me
Surround me with your aroma
As I breathe you,

Crushed, slowly but surely
Between my forefinger and thumb
In your own suffocation, you lie numb
As I kill you,

A temporary existence, of a similar pleasure
In a short need of your breath against mine
Not temporary
As I want you,

The passing of Pope John Paul II

The Pope John Paul II has passed away and people are mourning. I was looking at pictures on most websites of mourners of all races & ages unified in their loss, Catholics, Orthodox, Maronites and many more. I saw Moslems grieve the loss of a man who worked diligently for peace.

And when I speak to anyone they say: “Did you see? The Pope died… May God rest his soul…”

Of the many Pictures that I saw, a few touched me… One was of H.R.H. Prince Charles, head bent in prayer. Of nuns in deep thought of their immense loss, the many others were of small children in tears, from all across the world and in prayer…

I wondered about their loss, their comprehension of religion, their grievances, religion and its many other aspects that may or may not provoke them at a later point in life to commit passions in its name.

The Hitchikers Guide to the Galaxy

There's a movie coming out soon!

the uncovetional guide to Life, the Universe & Everything.

Yes it's the guide. Explaining it will be painful yet 'Mostly Harmless' . It's a Radio series; a trilogy of five books by the late Douglas Adams.

You must read it to understand and then perhaps you will only then know just a little. For axample that Elvis (Presley) is alive at 'The Restaurant at the end of the Universe' and that you may always need a towel wherever you go and it's not so bad out there and you may even discover "the meaning of Liff".

Many questions may pop up and 42 seems to be a solution to one of the biggest, so hey, why can't it be answer to any of my questions too!

Love you and leave you...

Male & Female; Anonymous

Fish

He got me fish

from Khor Fakkan,

He got me dry salted fish

I cooked it yesterday,

It tasted salty against my lips...

He got me fish,

a beautiful, bountiful gift of fish.

Thank you.
